After a user registers for a NYGATS account, the user identified as the NYGATS Account Manager takes the following steps to activate their new Account. If an email was not received after submitting the registration, check the spam or junk folder to see if the registry email was redirected, or contact the NYGATS Administrator (NYGATS@apx.com) to have the activation email resent.
- Check for an email with the subject ‘Congratulations – New NYGATS Account Requested’
- Review the email and click on the hyperlink provided in the email - an example of provided below:
- In the Activate Account page, enter the account Login Name and Password that you requested during the registration process.
- Click the ‘Activate’ button to activate the account.
Note: The NYGATS Administrator will be notified once the Account Registration has been activated. The NYGATS Administrator will then go through the new account verification process and approve the account. This process may take up to 48 hours to complete. Lastly, users cannot log into NYGATS until the account has been approved by a NYGATS Administrator.
